Medical Aid

Following the earthquake in 2005, the glaringly obvious lack of appropriate medical facilities, even before the disaster, was obvious to all. On returning to the UK, the team dedicated themselves to building a charitable hospital in the region.

Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honourable reward.

Midland Doctors® have strived to build a state-of-the- art medical facility, based on the UK model of the National Health Service, to provide free healthcare to all in the region. The vision now is to further develop the fully-functional hospital to include specialised departments which will be equipped to tackle all possible medical conditions. The medical aid provided by our team is further expanded through emergency camps during times of disaster along with educational workshops in community and our doctors conducting voluntary free of cost surgeries, i.e. donating their time, skills and expertise, to those in need.

70-mile radius of villages which funnel into MDMI, the only free state-of-the-art hospital in the region.

346,246 patients seen since inauguration of MDMI in 2013 to October 2020.

527 malnourished children on our nutrition program.

How can I help Midland Doctors®?

We are always in need of donations to help run our charity hospital in Muzaffarabad whilst also participating in many other charitable projects across the world. Of course, not all contributions are monetary. Your time and effort to help fundraise, manage and drive our organisation forward will always be welcomed and appreciated!
