The medical team at MDMI is undergoing training to handle the emergency situation so that extreme care and attention is provided to patients being screened while taking all the necessary precautions to control the spread of the COVID -19. Each patient approaching the hospital will be asked to clean their hands and their temperature will be checked at the gate. Their vitals shall be recorded and then necessary treatment shall be given.
Routine medical treatment has been ceased but the MDMI will be ready to receive any cases sent by the AJK government for isolation and also help in screening of the local population in the catchment area.
