Goals for the Hospital

by | Sep 22, 2014 | Hospital News, Hospital Project

Vauxhall Hockey Club from Luton achieved their fundraising target in support of Midland Doctors. The goal was for the 3 strikers Ash Mahmood, Zahid Khan and Tanzeel Akhtar to score a total of 50 goals. With the help of their team mates the 3 strikers scored 58 goals in 22 games, to help raise funds for the Muzzaffarabad Hospital and also achieve promotion. The funds raised will be used to provide free outpatient treatment and free medicine to those most in need.

Ash Mahmood also reached a personal target of 1000 career goals for Vauxhall Hockey Club. Mahmood commented, “Reaching this personal milestone is an achievement however it is the work of Midland Doctors in Pakistan that gives me pride. Their support of the poor and needy in Pakistan is inspiring. The ability to provide such modern facilities and treatment to those unable to afford it, is truly a mammoth effort. My team mates and I are humbled by the effort the Doctors put in and we are happy to support them in their endeavours.”
